A concussion is a form of brain injury that causes a temporary disturbance in your brain functions.
Concussions happen because of a hit, bump or blow to the head or elsewhere on the body.
This impact causes the brain to move back and forth inside the skull.
Common symptoms:
Headache, nausea, dizziness, fogginess, difficulty in concentration, sensitivity to light and noise, anxiety, emotional, sleep disturbances, neck pain
1. If you suspect a concussion,
2. Take rest for 24 to 48 hours
3. Take more nutritious food for quicker brain recovery.
4. Do not drink alcohol which may impair brain repair and increases inflammation
5. Eat more fruits and veggies full of antioxidants that reduce nerve damage
